A FULL COLOUR LED Dot Matrix Display – pictures don't do them justice! Contact us if you are looking for a display for your REAL pinball machine.

This unit uses a 128×32 pixel RGB Dot Matrix Display panel, mated up to some very clever hardware and software developed by the PIN2DMD project. The end result is a full colour DMD unit ready to be installed and used in your Virtual Pinball machine!

Whilst our main focus is on Virtual Pinball, we can also help you out if you are looking for a replacement DMD unit to use in a REAL pinball machine.

Works in Windows with the following software:

Visual Pinball/PinMame

Future Pinball (using “DMD Interceptor” DLL)

Unit3d Pinball

Ultra DMD

PinballX / XDMD

Pinball FX2 (using DMDEXT utility)

The Pinball Arcade (using DMDEXT utility)

The DMD unit comes mounted to a frame ready for installation into your cabinet. The interface circuitboards are pre-configured and mounted to the back of the frame with all wiring in place. So literally all you do is plug in the power supply that’s included with the DMD, connect its USB cable to your PC, then copy some files to your PC from the supplied CD and away you go.

ADDITIONAL PURCHASE REQUIREMENT:
In addition to the purchase cost, you will need to make a “donation” to the PIN2DMD project to recieve an Activation Code to unlock the firmware installed into the unit. This is an anti-piracy measure they’ve had to put in place and the fee is referred to as a donation, with all proceeds going to charity.
We have you do this during the ordering process and then have you send us the Activation Code File. This enables us to fully test your DMD unit before packing it and sending it to you.

What’s Included:

A Fully assembled RGB DMD Unit mounted to a frame
5v Power Supply
CD containing instructions, Activation Code File, PIN2DMD utility and other assorted support files

IMPORTANT NOTE:
PIN2DMD is an open source project that relies on interest from the Virtual Pinball community to continue expanding. So by all means become involved and help to grow the project!

Use this with our Virtual Pinball Interface.

This Module connects directly to our Virtual Pinball Encoder as an add-on upgrade. It will add the following functionality to your Virtual Pinball installation:

Features:

Full analog operation – you have FULL CONTROL of the force with which the plunger strikes the ball

Smooth, repeatable action

Compatibility with Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, Pinball FX2 and The Pinball Arcade

Plug and Play when added to our Virtual Pinball Encoder

Robust design, adjustable to suit nearly all plunger installations

We’ve designed the Plunger Module to work with as many different plungers as possible whilst keeping it as simple as possible to set up. It consists of a Slide Potentiometer mounted on a block of composite material, which is then mounted to an aluminium bracket. The bracket is adjustable for length to ensure the Slider can be fine tuned to suit your individual installation.

There is also a smaller block of composite material which is used to actuate the Slider. When the Module is fully installed, that block sits on the pin of the Slider and the rod of your plunger sleeves through it, so when you pull back on the plunger the Slider moves back and forth with it. The end effect is that you really FEEL like you have control of the on-screen plunger.
We also include a Low Tension Spring for fitting to your Plunger, which lessens the amount of force applied by the plunger and provides a nice smooth action.

This works extremely well with many virtual pinball programs and offers a heightened sense of realism to the virtual pinball experience.

This product comes with:

Give your Virtual Pinball machine “the feels”! This is a new product – more pics and info included soon.

This kit comprises an amplifier and a special pair of speakers called “Exciters” which, when installed, transmit vibrations through your Virtual Pinball cabinet. This enables you to feel every bumper pop, flipper press, target drop, collision or pretty much any type of mechanical “event” as it happens during play. On many pinball tables you can even feel the ball rolling down the playfield!!

It works astonishingly well for such a simple setup and as such, we reckon it’s the best bang-for-your-buck addition you can make to your Virtual Pinball cabinet.

What do you get?

2 x Dayton Audio 58mm Exciter Speakers with mounting screws

1 x 2.1 channel Amplifier, with power supply and Audio Cable

2m of Speaker Cable

Instructions for installing hardware and configuring software

How do you install it?

Mount the Exciters and Amp into your cabinet and wire up the Exciters, connect the Audio Cable from the Amp to your secondary audio source (usually the headphone or Audio Out jack of your Playfield TV/Monitor), plug in the Amp’s power supply and the hardware installation is done.

You then change a couple of software settings on your PC (this differs slightly depending on which programs you run) so all the mechanical sounds generated are sent through to the Exciters and then you are ready to roll.

There’s obviously a bit more to it but it is all included in our VERY easy to understand instructions, so it should only take around one hour to complete everything required.

A perfect button to use in a Virtual Pinball, as well as an Arcade Cabinet. Now at a PERMANENTLY reduced price!

High-Performance Arcade Pushbuttons with integral minature gold-plated leaf switches.

Unlike most other pushbuttons on the market, the GoldLeaf buttons use a leaf switch instead of a microswitch. This means no clicking and results in an almost silent button. There is also no internal spring so the button only requires a very light press to actuate it.

This makes the GoldLeaf a great alternative to a “proper” leaf switch type button in a pinball machine (Virtual or real), as they offer the same feel but without the hassle of needing to adjust the leaf switch all the time, which can be a pain to get right!

The moving part of the button is ultra-light and only 10mm deep unlike other types where the plunger extends the full depth of the button. The type of switch used allows for very accurate contact close and open points resulting in superior accuracy compared to a microswitch.

The typical long threaded barrel and nut design provides a perfect alternative to those who want a silent light touch button but need to mount it into a thicker timber panel rather than a thin metal panel that the Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons are designed for. A panel up to 19mm thick is no problem for the GoldLeaf. And of course it HAS to be a dimple top which helps the player “find” the middle of the plunger and further increases accuracy.

Gold plating on the switch contacts and external terminals ensure that the GoldLeaf button delivers top performance for a VERY long time!

Note that although the terminals are 2.8mm, the larger 6.3mm connectors used in our Wiring Kit will still fit satisfactorily on these buttons – you may just need to give the connectors a light “pinch” with some pliers to help them stay on the terminals securely.
