The faceplate has a 29mm slot so it will accept coins up to that size. Internally this model can be adjusted for the height and width of the coin to be accepted and “out of the box” it is configured to accept an Australian 20c coin (same size as NZ 20c). If a coin is not of the acceptable size or gets caught in the mech there is an eject button that will cause the coin to drop into the reject slot.

A microswitch is included with this coin mech.

This model is electronic and connects to 12V DC, which can be sourced from the JAMMA harness or direct from the power supply within the cabinet. If you are creating a MAME cabinet and using a PC instead, simply connect the unit to a spare 12V plug from within your PC.

This model also uses universal mounting holes and comes with all mounting hardware and wiring required for installation. It also accepts the JAMMA power plug which simplifies connection in JAMMA cabinets.

Coin detection is done electronically, so once you connect up the supplied wiring harness all you do is insert a sample coin into a cradle on the side of the unit and it is ready to go. The CM02 uses a ‘Hall effect’ type switch that detects the coin being inserted and determines if it should be accepted. This then triggers a gate to accept (or reject) the coin and sends a signal through another circuit to register a credit. No microswitch is required for credit detection.

Product discontinued Our apologies – this item is no longer being manufactured. Please feel free to select from one of our other products.

This is our budget model coin mech, yet it still has all the features you will need. As with our other models it has universal mounting holes and all mounting hardware is included.

It is constructed of ABS plastic and metal so it’s both lightweight and strong. There is a restrictor plate behind the coin slot that can be adjusted to accept coins between 19mm and 30mm in diameter. The internals of this model can also be adjusted for height and width of the desired coin to be accepted. If a coin is not of the acceptable size or gets caught in the mech there is a reject button that will cause the coin to drop into the reject slot.

Includes a microswitch and mounting hardware.

* Microswitch Included.

These are perfect for use in situations where a coin mech will not fit, or where you can’t justify the additional cost. Simply wire the microswitch of the button to the same circuit you’d normally use on a coin mech, then all you do is press the button to register a coin drop.

We print a high resolution label and insert it into our Rectangular Illuminated Pushbutton, which is then backlit using a 12v COLOURED LED to give superior colour saturation. The end result is a button of striking appearance and its purpose is immediately obvious to the user.

Due to demand these buttons are available in Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. A microswitch and coloured 12v LED are included with each button.
